Subcomandante Marcos These men are the Heroes of the Sikh people (a minority in India). Also, for the past 400 years or so, the Sikhs have been the ones defending India from the persians, afghans and mughals. If it wasnt for them, there would be no such thing as a Hindu. India belongs to the Sikhs but all India has done is betray them agai...n and again and again. So you see, when you hear the word "terrorist", do some research and decide for yourself if these "terrorists" are your enemy.
Subcomandante Marcos Another example of so called "terrorists" are the Sikhs in modern India. In 1984, the Indian government claimed that Sikh "terrorists" were hiding in the holy Golden Temple. These "terrorists" were men and boys lead by Sant Jernail Singh Bindrahnwale. Their cause was to restore strength to the Sikh faith, the way it ha...d been before the British invaded and raped and pillaged the beautiful country. The Sikhs, fed up with the mess that is India, demanded independence. Mohatma Gandhi promised this to them but betrayed them when India split from Pakistan. In 1984, the government sent their army into the Golden Temple and basically slaughtered thousands of innocent people who were only there to pray. As for the "terrorists", they did no give up without a fight but eventually all were killed. The government had a blackout on India at that time. Nobody knew what was going on until a week or two after the massacre. Shortly after, the prime minister of India was assassinated.
Subcomandante Marcos Loulis, my brother, you need to understand that our newfound enemy, the Musliim "terrorist", is something that has been fed to us by the media and the government. It is a move made by the US government STRAIGHT OUT OF THE NAZI PLAYBOOK. In order to have an enemy of the nation, you must have an image of that enemy for p...eople to fear and hate. Now, as I think you will notice, every incident that occurs these days (shootings, killings etc) in foreign countries is now the work of "terrorists". Ten years ago most people would have never even considered using the word yet in the present day we hear it constantly day in, day out. So think about that for a moment. This "huge threat" from muslim terrorists is a JOKE. Wake up, open your mind and eyes, stop using your tv and newspaper for news.
Subcomandante Marcos Thanks for the heads up Ivan! Ive actually seen that book at my university bookstore (which is surprisingly full of anti globalist/anti american books for a school knee deep in corporate sponsorships). Check out your schools and local libraries, they might have it too!

However, if the members of this group do wish to discuss this topic in a mature and intelligent manner, then you are free to do so. Also, I suggest you make a topic in the discussion board as it will be easier for you to keep t...rack of your discussion. Finally, if I start to receive ALOT of complaints about topic derailment then we will no longer discuss the Turkish governments involvement in various acts.
